It feels like forever since I have posted, and I think this background is very appropriate for our lives right now! I have been very much engulfed in school and school work and spending time in elementary schools and I love it!!! It is hard because I am so busy all the time, but it is also super fun! I have been offered an internship this fall and am very excited to be teaching fourth grade in just a few months. A lot of people have been asking what all an internship entails. Basically I will be completing my first year of teaching for half salary and BYU credits. I feels like it has been a long time coming but I will graduate from BYU next summer...YEAH!!
Braeden had is Kindergarten program about a week ago and is officially a first grader. It's hard for me to believe I have a first grader already. He will be transferred to the school where I am teaching next year so that we don't have to worry about getting him to and from school, he will just come with me. It will be an adventure because Neil will have the car so we will ride the city bus. Braeden is excited about that and he is excited because he thinks he will learn Spanish at his new school. The entire school is made up of about 50% Hispanics.
Right now the kids are in Rough and Ready with Grandma and Grandpa Chittock. It is so hard without them and it has only been two days, but I know they are having fun and are not missing mom and dad as much as mom and dad miss them. They are out there so I can finish up this crazy term of school. I have 10 units spring term which is equivalent to 20 credits during a normal semester and it has been killing me. I am getting a lot of work done, but it is sooooo quiet around here.
I guess that's about all, I know I haven't posted pics in a while, so that will be the next post. For now....back to homework for me!
