We must be doing something right...

We went out with our friends the Argyles last night so we didn't get home until almost 10 pm.  The kids were both pretty much asleep in the car so we carried them in and put them straight to bed.  When I was giving Braeden a kiss he half opened his eyes and said, "wait we need a prayer and song".  Sometimes I feel like he is such a terror and I am failing at my job as a mom, but then he says something like that and it makes me feel much better.  So we said sleepy prayers and sang a song and then he went right to sleep.  It was a lesson for me too.  I should always say my prayers whether I am exhausted and just want to get to sleep or not.  Funny how a 4 year old can remind us of the important stuff sometimes.
